Woolly Rhino Tooth with great preservation of root, dates to the Pleistocene Epoch. Treated with acetone / adhesive for longevity.
The teeth are found in the North Sea, more or less halfway between Ijmuiden (in the Netherlands) and Lowestoft in East Anglia (UK), the find area is called the Brown Bank which is approximately 30 meters deep. They are found by fishermen who are dredging for flatfish and this particular fossil was purchased directly from one of those fishermen in order to keep the price low.
