Keichousaurus hui from Xingyi, Guizhou, China. Preserved in dorsal presentation (skull uppermost). 


Dates to the Triassic Period (Approximately 250 million years old).

Great example with no restoration, paint, highlighting, enhancement, carving or fabrication, the Keichousaur is 100% genuine (not painted onto the matrix as can be the case).

The skeleton is intact. The teeth are faintly visible at the very front of the skull.


Examined under stereo microscope by highly qualified specialist in the species.

Fossil measures 17.4 cm (if outstretched).
Matrix measures 18.0 cm x 11.1 cm
