Perleidus was a species of ray finned fish.
This fossil was found in Ambilobe, Madagascar and dates to the Early Triassic period (Olenekian) - In the region of 245 million years old. Each half is approximately 12.5 cm long by 7.5 cm wide by 1.5 cm deep.
The nodule has been split in half to reveal the fish inside, please note that one half of the nodule broke during the extraction process (which is not uncommon!), there are no other repairs or restoration. Comes with display stands.
