Nice fossil fish mortality plate from the Green River Formation, Wyoming, USA. Dates to the Eocene Period (In the region of 50 million years old).

The plate measures approximately 22 cm x 14 cm x 0.8 cm, the largest fish are roughly 3.5 cm in length.

This plate is 100% natural, there have been no repairs or restoration. Good contrast between the fish and the surrounding matrix, with fine preservation of the ribs / fins / vertebrae / other body parts.
