Superb mass mortality plate of Eurypterids (Balteuypterus remiceps). Showing one near complete example (top right of picture 1 & picture 2), a second good example (picture 3) and fragments of several other specimens.

The fossil dates to the Silurian (Wenlock Series), and is from the River Smotrich area, Bolshoe Zalesc Village, Kamieniec Podolski, Khmelnitskaya Region, Ukraine.

The matrix is 13.5 x 8.5 x 3.0 cm & weighs 774 g. There is no restoration, 100% natural.
