Cyclocarya brownie fruit from Almont, North Dakota, USA. Dates to the Paleocene Epoch.
Cyclocarya is a genus of flowering plants in the family Juglandaceae (the walnut family). The only surviving member of the Cyclocarya genus is Cyclocarya paliurus (the wheel wingnut) found in Eastern and Central China.
