This ammonite has been cut in half and then polished in order to reveal the inner chambers / suture pattern. The ammonite comes from Madagascar & dates to the Albian Stage of the Cretaceous Period (Circa 100-115 million years old).

Nice size at 18.8 cm (max diameter) & top quality.
