Asaphus cornutus (Pander, 1830). This trilobite was found in the Asery Level, Vilpovitsy quarry, St. Petersburg region, Russia 

Dates to the Middle Ordovician Period. 

Size: Trilobite - 5.4 cm x 3.4 cm. 
Matrix: 9.0 cm x 6.7 cm x 1.7 cm
  
The hard calcite exoskeleton shows up nicely against the lighter limestone matrix. 

Please note that these Russian trilobites always have a small amount of restoration, this trilobite has approximately 5% restoration.
