Ornithomimid hand claw from the Late Cretaceous (approx. 68-66 million years old), collected from the Hell Creek formation, South Dakota, USA. This specimen features a long and more slender design unlike foot claws which are more broader in shape to support the animal. ornithomimids claws also lack a more curved shape unlike most carnivorous theropods which have heavily curved hand claws.
