Holmesina Giant Armadillo Scute

A dermal scute “armour” from a giant armadillo called Holmesina. This fossil was found in Florida, USA and is around 20,000 years old (Pleistocene). The fossil measures 4.6cm in length 2.8cm in width and 8mm in height. Has had no repairs or restoration.
