Holmesina Giant Armadillo Scute

A dermal scute “armour” from a giant armadillo called Holmesina. This fossil was found in Florida, USA and is around 20,000 years old (Pleistocene). The fossil measures 4.4cm in length 2.9cm in width and 7mm in height. Has had no repairs or restoration.
